Part Numbering System
For each product manufactured at B.I.M.’s production facility, we have assigned a “cryptic” or “user-friendly” part number which denotes the specific characteristics of the product.

For each product manufactured at B.I.M.’s production facility, we have assigned a “cryptic” or “user-friendly” part number which denotes the specific characteristics of the product.

Our part numbering system is designed to simplify ordering and ensure that end-users will acquire the correct connector and/or cable assembly for each and every application.

Products are classified into various “series” which are given an Alpha Code. Following the alpha code the part number continues to identify the product.

Use the following tables to determine the meaning of the part number components.

Numeric Code

The numeric code following the primary alpha code is compromised of pairs of digits.
The first two digits refer to the number of contacts The second two digits refer to the AWG of the conductors

Secondary Alpha Code

The secondary alpha code which follows the numeric code indicates the following:

Length Code

The suffix following the secondary alpha code is compromised of numeric and alpha details.
